An affordable gyro spot with quick service. The meat is well seasoned and the fries are fresh, bonus points for being pretty generous with the portions. The staff is curt but they are getting your food out quickly, so honestly I don't see the problem with it. Plenty of seating if you want to eat in and the place is well kept. It's in a strip mall so there a several actual parking spaces if needed.

I've been going to Windy City gyros for years when they was just a little hole in the wall on the corner of Sheridan and Dakin but now they remodeled, and the food is still delicious even after 30 years. Plus the customer service is great.

I had to hop on and leave a note about Windy City Gyros. I've moved around a lot and it's hard to find good staples, but I've found mine here. I've tried quite a few gyros around Chicago and I keep coming back here for the chicken pita and gyro sandwich.

Coming in there, I had not had gyros in a long time and was desperate for one. The guys in the back understood the assignment, super cool chill dudes and quick with it. Me and my friend dogged that after a night of drinking. That combination of gyro meat and fries hit the spot, they know what they're doing being open so late. Thank you all so much, would definitely come back.

Best gyro I've had in years. It's set up like a diner. The service was fast and the guys behind the counter were very friendly. I love that it's open late. Only con is the cheese fries. I personally felt like the cheese was a very watery nacho cheese sauce and fried unseasoned. I hear that they have great fish & chips as well.

Stopped by for a late night dinner at Windy City Gyros and I enjoyed their gyro! So flavorful and fresh. My boyfriend got the rib eye steak sandwich which was also decent! The food is reasonably priced and the tables were cleaned frequently.

At this price point, this place is my favorite. For a late night snack, my favorite. For a chocolate dipped cone, my favorite. The place is clean, fast, and straightforward. The nuggets are good. The burger is tasty. The chicken gyro is recommended. It's all good and a great price. 5 stars for this price point. Pro-tip: these guys work hard and quick. Stop by the gas station and pick up a bag of candy for them as they don't take tips. They will be so excited.
